Welcome to First Grade! We are excited about the smiling new faces of the eager students! We are also excited about welcoming two new teachers to the First Grade! Ms. Cambell, Mrs. Baertschi, and Ms. Gracia have joined the team for the 2008-2009 school year.
The students will begin bringing home their purple binders this week so please make sure you are checking your child’s backpack for it each evening. After the Labor Day holiday we will begin including homework inside the purple binders that your child needs to complete and return in the purple binder the next day. We will also begin sending home-readers then as well. Please make sure your child is reading out-loud to an adult each evening as part of their daily homework!
