Congratulations Ms. Lupe Arguijo!

PSE 2008-2009 Teacher of the Year

Ms. Arguijo is a 1st grade teacher here at Pine Shadows.  Her colleagues nominated and elected her to represent our campus as its Teacher of the Year.  She spends many extra hours preparing differentiated materials, attending campus, district, and state workshops to gain even more knowledge and new strategies to use with her class.  She shares with her colleagues everything and anything she has, and is a mentor to one of our first year teachers.  She has expectations and makes learning exciting for all her students.  Ms. Arguijo also teaches her students about respect, getting along with everyone, and being good citizens.  She leads by example and is consistent with her students.  All of her students are treated with fairness and respect.  Her sense of humor is a great relief to stressful situations.  She is highly respected by her peers.   We are pleased to have such an effective teacher as Ms. Arguijo is as part of our Pine Shadows family.
