MyEyeDr. Continues Partnership with Houston School to Provide Vision Screenings

MyEyeDr. didn't stop at just one visit to Pine Shadows Elementary School.

They continued their commitment to the community by returning and providing free eye exams to students. This time, they set up a mobile eye clinic, allowing easy access for students to get their eyes checked.

Many families were grateful for the opportunity as they could not afford eye exams and glasses for their children. MyEyeDr. also provided coupons and reduced cost frames for families in need, ensuring that Every Child had access to quality eye care and eyewear.

The day was a huge success, with over 100 students receiving eye exams and nearly 50 families taking advantage of the discounted eyewear options. The doctors and staff at MyEyeDr. were thrilled to be able to give back to the community in such a meaningful way.

"We believe that everyone deserves access to quality eye care, regardless of their financial situation," said Dr. Emmanuella Okocha, one of the doctors at MyEyeDr. "It's our mission to provide affordable options for all of our patients, and events like this allow us to reach even more people and make a real impact on their lives."

The school principal, Chris Winstead, expressed her gratitude to MyEyeDr. and Shaq for their continued support of the school and its students. "We are so fortunate to have such wonderful partners in our community. MyEyeDr. and Shaq have gone above and beyond to support our students and their families, and we are incredibly grateful."
